Whereas the dog when sold by the Seller on____________________ was sound in body and free of communicable diseases as determined by Seller’s veterinarian.
NOW THEREFORE the BUYER & SELLER hereby agree to the following:
The Buyer shall have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 24 hours of delivery. ( NO EXCEPTIONS ).
Should the examination disclose any life threatening (fatal) genetic defects, The seller must be contacted within that 24 hour period and the problem must be verified by the Seller's veterinarian.
Buyer must provide puppy with routine preventive care, such as:
Vaccinations & de-worming.
Annual physical examinations.
Heartworm preventatives.
Seller shall GUARANTEE 12 ( twelve ) months for life threatening (fatal) GENETIC Defects ONLY. ( NO EXCEPTIONS ).
If a puppy is showing any life threatening (fatal) genetic defects it must be examined by a veterinarian. Seller must be notified at "ONCE" at the onset of the problem, in writing, with a report from the veterinarian. If the puppy dies for some unknown reason, the Buyer must have an AUTOPSY done on the puppy to determine cause of death before a replacement puppy is given. This is also the responsibility of the Buyer. Seller’s veterinarian will interpret the report and if he/she concurs, then a replacement puppy will be given.
*Seller shall provide Buyer with a replacement dog of at least equal value and equal quality.
*NO refund, in full or in part, will be given.
*A puppy with a defect must be returned or euthanized with the prior permission of the "SELLER".
*Returned puppy must be in GOOD condition, other than the specified problem.
*Buyer is responsible for transportation cost TO and FROM the seller on the replacement puppy.
SELLER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
*VETERINARIAN COSTS.
*HYPO-GLYCEMIA.
*INFECTIOUS or CONTAGIOUS DISEASES such as:
*PARVOVIRUS, GIARDIA, COCCIDIOSIS and CAMPYLOBACTOR.
*ANY ENVIRONMENTAL conditions are NOT covered by this guarantee.
This guarantee applies only to the original puppy and is nontransferable to a second party.
*ANY physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is NOT covered under this guarantee.
The seller sells puppies as a pet of show quality prospects, although Buyer understands that NO guarantees can be made in this regard.
All breeding dogs are sold__________________. Buyer understands that no guarantee is given for breeding bitches/males.
All pet puppies are sold APR registered unless otherwise noted.
APR Reg " CANNOT " be transferred to the Canadian Kennel Club.
If the terms and CONDITIONS are NOT fulfilled, this contract will be void.
BUYER agrees that he/she understands this contract fully.
The health and happiness of this puppy is now the Buyer’s responsibility.
